Tamara and Billy would like to introduce their little bundle of joy, Cru Henry Miller. You may recognize these three lovely young ladies from a past family session and this day we celebrated the blessing of new life that has grown their family.
Cru was a hungry little man when we tried to start our session. He needed to eat 3 times before he was filled up...and as a mom of 3 sons, this is just the start of the ravenous appetites of active little boys! I saw this as an opportunity to work with the girls for some beautiful portraits of their sweet sisterly bond.
I have so enjoyed photographing these two sisters and after our first portrait session I remember Tamara saying, 'we'll
be back!' I look forward to watching these sisters grow into the kind and spunky young women I see them becoming. That's one of the coolest parts about a portrait business--watching families grow up before
my eyes and capturing moments that will be cherished for many years to come. Funniest part about these two is that although they are very
interested in dance, they also wrestle around like my boys do all day. So, i think Cru is going to have a blast with his big sisters!
Billy and his brother CJ are the Miller brothers of CJ Miller excavating and paving. If you've spent any time driving around Carroll County you've most certainly passed a red CJ Miller truck on the roads. A friend refinished this antique steam roller for Billy to have as a part of the portrait session. Another friend gifted the hat with the CJ Miller emblem. I'm not sure who is happier, the new daddy or Cru!
Cru will likely have lots of fun with this antique steam roller as he gets bigger. Really cool to include family legacy items in newborn sessions!
*As a side note, as safety in newborn portraiture is of vital importance....Cru was held safely in place the entire time and I created a composite image in Photoshop.
