JDP senior model Alajha

Alajha is one of a kind.  Seriously, this quiet gentle soul will wow you over and over again when you spend any time with her.  She is a large force to be reckoned with, packed in a delicate little frame, with a shy smile that’s warm and inviting.  I gotta say it again, Alajha is a one of a kind!

Clearly you can see we bridged a lot of decades with Alajha’s styling with all those gorgeous curls!  Alajha hoped her inner smile showed in her portraits and I’d say we hit the mark!

Alajha will be graduating from Liberty High this spring…Lord willing!  Yet she’s another one of those poor class of 2020 kids who is seeing her senior year tank right before her eyes.  She’s trying to remain optimistic.  She’s very involved at Liberty and in her community.  She’s been a member of the junior ROTC for two years now and has attained the rank of master sergeant.

Alajha also runs cross country, track and field and plays softball.  She volunteers at her local hospital and helps to manage athletic teams when she’s not playing a sport.  Somehow she has managed to also work at Roy Rogers through a lot of this as well!

Alajha’s mom flipped over this portrait below.  One of her favorite movies is Gone with the Wind and she could see Alajha’s fierceness dropped right into one of her favorite scenes.

Alajha is also an accomplished artist.  She has work on display at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Art which celebrates the authentic voice of Maryland African American history and culture.  She was selected to be a part of the 2020 juried art show.  She’s also in all county orchestra and has art work on display on Carroll County websites.  She’s been hired to create a solar system at a place of business for their decor and hopes to make more art in her life and for others.

Alajha, the sky is the limit for you sweet girl!  If you decide on WVU for the fall–they are going to be lucky to have you join their ranks!  Your kindness, graciousness, gentleness and sweet spirit is a blessing to all who are fortunate enough to do life with you!  I cannot wait to see what your future holds and to cheer you on along the way!  Click here to inquire about your own custom portraits!
