JDP senior Amanda is just under 2 weeks away from graduating from Delone High and a betting person would lay odds on there being a lot of tears for her. She’s at that spot where so many seniors are…in a little bit of disbelief that her high school career is almost over.

She’s made amazing memories and the small family like feel of Delone makes it hard to say goodbye. But what awaits Amanda is continuing her education at McDaniel College where she hopes to pursue training for a career in physical therapy.

It’s clear if you spend any time with Amanda she exudes joy and has a heart to help others. She wants to make her life count and is the kind of young woman that you just can’t help but to love your time with.
Amanda’s been a dancer her whole life. She started ballet at 3 years old and never looked back. She’s been on pointe for 6 years and fell in love with the graceful movements that she wanted to emulate in her own dance. Her ballet training also helped her with the many years she spent in cheerleading as well. 
This editorial look has grown increasingly popular with our JDP seniors and it’s always a blast to see the girls own this segment of their portrait time!

Amanda cheered for Cheer Extreme for 9 years and was a flier. She loved the risk of flying high in the air and figures, YOLO! She embraces whatever opportunity is in front of her and is sure to make memories in the process! 
Amanda also holds a job at Brightview senior center where I’m pretty sure the residents have fallen in love with her bubbly disposition and magnetic smile!
When Amanda reached out for portraits in 2021, we only had spring available. She jumped at the spot. We did offer her a bit of summertime shooting to add into her gallery that was on hold till spring 2022. This year we will offer only a handful of multi-season sessions, available as an upgrade to clients who find us later.
