All signs pointed to Baby Jared arriving early, but those signs were all just teasers that kept Mom and Dad on edge awaiting what turned out to be a delivery later than expected. But as is often true in life, good things come to those who wait! And now the wait was so worth it!
Those who saw Mom’s maternity session blog will remember that Baby Jared’s name was chosen when mom was just a 9 year old little girl. Jared’s name honors the memory of Mom’s brother who was still born when she was 9. Today she and Grandmom count fingers and toes again and find themselves sitting in a strange mixture of sorrow and joy. Conflicting emotions like that remind us that to everything there is a season and now this season will be over flowing with joy!
Mom clearly is smitten. She’s head over heels over this tiny package that love created! It had only been a week but Mom was looking radiant and showing no tell tale dark circles of sleep deprivation yet!
Jared was very alert through all but the first part of our session time. He seemed very curious to take in all that was going on around him. He also calmed very quickly and seems to be taking a laid back approach to his new life!
During Mom’s maternity session shots Dad had one request—the Titlist pro ball perched on her belly button. You can imagine he’s going to be pretty excited about this shot! Here’s to the many wonderful family memories a shared love of family golf will create! Welcome Baby Jared–you are deeply loved!
