When a baby is welcomed into our homes, those without children envision abundant idealistic Johnson and Johnson commercial moments. Those with children say, ‘let the wonderful chaos begin,’ or as Tina would say in a FB status update, “Love being a mom of 4! I live for chaos!!!”
When that baby is times two and welcomed by two big brothers, it’s time to brace yourself for the wild ride ahead!
Tina and Ryan welcomed their much-anticipated twins, Casey and Alaina 6 weeks ago. That great joy is carrying them through the sleeplessness that inevitably invades a home with newborns. Their family and friends have rallied around them in support and to celebrate the healthy birth of their babies.
Tina and Ryan are overwhelmed with gratitude by all the outpouring of love they’ve experienced. It has made a world of difference in welcoming the twins home. Daily help in the home and delivered home made meals is currently scheduled through Thanksgiving! What an incredible blessing!
Tina knows first hand the importance of being connected to other moms during this parenting adventure. She was a member of MOPS (Mother’s of Preschoolers) for years and also held the Coordinator role for three years. MOPS is an incredible support for young mothers. It’s a place for moms to connect while their children are cared for and be encouraged in their parenting adventure.
Tina’s MOPS years taught her how important it is to be connected to other moms in this journey. MOPS is currently hosted by Life Point Church and all moms are welcome. Life Point Church’s website has more information.
This session was shot in the family home and thankfully we managed to get Casey and Alaina’s nursing schedule coordinated with their photo shoot! When it was time to photograph, these two just snuggled up next to each other as naturally as if they were back in the womb! Tina joked she may be swaddling them together to help them sleep! I told her my twins still sleep snuggled into each other at night and they are 8!
