I saw Mom, Dad and Jenna the day before baby Harrison arrived walking in the mall, hoping to bring on labor. 

Wives tales abound in how to bring on labor and there just as many women who will tell you those tips work as those who will tell you they won’t.  Becky’s body was ready to have this baby though, so little did she know she was less than a day away from delivering a happy, healthy baby Harrison after a hard and fast labor. 

After watching Becky’s natural labor Randy has a new hero—Becky!  It’s the hardest thing in the world to see someone you love in so much pain and not being able to do a thing about it!  Randy’s always been very protective of Becky so this was especially tough for him to watch. 

They were both so grateful for Harrison’s safe delivery after the difficulty Becky had with complications following her delivery of Jenna.  The complications she faced resulted in Becky requiring three blood transfusions.  So, you can imagine they brought an equal mix of trepidation and excitement to this labor and delivery! 

Becky had her eyes on the prize through her labor and now these are the moments she hopes to hold on to with all her heart.  Snuggling her precious new baby while surrounded by her family! 

Randy’s a huge soccer fan and player so how fitting that he brought this ball to be a part of his son’s newborn session.  I see many lively soccer matches between these two as the years pass.

Harrison was a very alert baby for most of his session.  He made it clear he wanted to stay swaddled tightly and dad was right on top of the job.  Randy joked, ‘this isn’t my first rodeo’ as he swaddled his son.   Fathers are often tentative around their babies at the start, but not Randy.  He was all hands on deck and beaming with pride over his first son.  

Something tells me Harrison is going to be one happy little boy—he gave us 3 seperate smiles which is definately a record for me!  Wish you all the best Eckrotes!
