Welcome C A P T U R E D’ s newest precious little peanut, Dawson! Dawson’s new born session was just 4 days prior to Christmas! Mom’s delivery was planned so her date was on the books. I could sense her apprehension being so close to the holidays. I don’t typically photograph in Decemeber, but I wanted to help her celebrate Dawson’s arrival in spite of the hecticness of the season. (Typically I don’t photograph in December to assure all my November clients have all their products turned around in time for gifts and to be up on the walls for their Christmas celebrations.)
We created a beautiful Happy New Year card to introduce Dawson to family and friends. Dawson’s biggest fan is his big brother Mason who was a delight to photograph with his new baby brother. I’m quite certain these two have a lot of wonderful adventures in store!
Mom and Dad were both huge baseball players so Dad loved the idea of Dawson fitting into his glove! We entitled this “Hey put me in Coach, I’m ready to play.” Well either that, or ‘Dad I may or may not have just peed in your glove!”
Dawson is sleeping peacefully under a blanket hand made by his Grandmom. She stayed with her sweet family for two weeks to help them get adjusted to all the chaos a newborn brings into the home—a true blessing for the Walters! I wish you all the best Dawson–it’s a big world out there waiting for you to grab it by the tail and explore!
