JDP senior Ashley

Meet Ashley!  What a sweetheart!  Course, I’m not telling those of you who know her anything you don’t already know!  This little powerhouse is full of gentle conviction and passion that fuels her life, founded in her faith in the Lord.  It’s so apparent when you spend time with Ashley that she is living her life with intention that goes far beyond herself.   She’s full of wisdom that she allows to guide her life…such a rare beauty in a teenage girl!  Her beauty on the outside is readily apparent, however it radiates from much deeper place inside her that becomes apparent when you get to know her.

Ashley is a senior at North Carroll Highschool, well for a few more weeks anyway!  She plans to become a pediatric occupational therapist.  She realized this was her calling after she started working in the HUGS ministry at LifePoint church years ago.  HUGS is a ministry for special needs kids.  Ashley was hooked from her first day and has been a faithful volunteer for years.  She also works with special needs children at her job…where she has received several marriage proposals from the little boys she helps!  It’s clear she’s going to break a lot of hearts till the day some very lucky guy sweeps her off her feet!

Ashley tagged into my Couture time for seniors by bringing out her prom
dress to Unveil her Cinderella!  She looks like a movie star on set for
the filming of her next block buster!   My senior portrait sessions include hair and make up styling on site with my stylist Jill Jackson.  What an awesome pampering way to start off a portrait session!

Ashley and her mom Kathy deserve some serious props for their session!  During our pre-consultation conversations I asked if they were into adventure for their session and warned they’d need boots.  They were all over it!  Kathy was also a huge help to my assistant Hayley and myself throughout the whole session to help create the stunning images you see here.

Ashley loves her little Mini Cooper so we knew we had to incorporate this into her portrait session.  Is she not adorable or what!

Mom and Ashley were barely sleeping waiting for their Big Reveal time at my studio.   And the giant smiles that covered their faces as we enjoyed reviewing all their images was awesome.  It was all mom could do not to tackle me in excitement and love over what we created!  Their excitement just spilled out all over the place and they already have plans for a full family portrait session!

I wish you all the best Ashley—the Lord certainly has big plans to use that heart of yours to shape this world into a better place for us all!
