Whaleys

We first met the Whaleys several years ago when we celebrated their post-wedding shoot to create sweeping romantic portraits in the dress that was custom designed for Amy.  Since then we have followed the development of their beautiful family and I celebrate with them as their family grows.

Stella is a card.  At 6 months old she had expressions that cracked me up and were more mature than I typically see on a 6 month old baby.  That continues with her today and and will always be a part of mom and dad’s gallery of memories to crack them up years from now.  I’ve highlighted her precious smiles and cherub-like expressions for the blog sharing.

Several months ago, Amy sent me a message asking if my husband could get our pond ready for something she had in mind.  Chris is such a great champion of my portrait services; he was happy to help prepare the scene and even gaffer that evening!  He helped Amy in and out of the mud in her rain boots to help create these breathtaking portraits. 

We closed our time with a bit of inside studio time.  Clients who have been with me for years always get special surprise perks along the way I’m happy to provide.  They trust me to create beauty for them that stops time and helps them to always remember….for that I’m grateful…I could never imagine doing this in a conventional sort of way.
