Michele told me her Cinderella day to celebrate her 45th birthday wouldn’t be complete without her “Happily Ever After” which is all wrapped up in the beautiful package of her precious Lou, Kyle and Landon.  These three make her heart beat a little faster when she lays eyes on them and they motivate her to reach for excellence in everything she touches.

So this Unveil your Cinderella session was a bit different.  It started along the same lines with luxuriating in the styling chair for Michele, then progressed into some individual portrait time so that Michele is in the record of her life instead of hidden behind the lens.  Michele wanted the  portraits that speak to her love of the rough and tumble along side her feminine side.   She is the vice president of her company and knows how to take care of business.   She brings the complete package of beauty, brains and toughness to everything she does so it was only fitting that her portrait time should reflect this.   She loved the idea of juxtaposing her feminine side in an outfit we created in studio with her jeep that speaks to her adventurous salt of the earth side.

Michele told me she was so nervous for this day…even more so than her wedding day!  I was blown away!  She had meticulously followed all the instructions we sent her to prepare (she says she could be my PR rep she’s wrapped her brain around this biz so well!) so I knew she was ready to go.  “For me, my wedding day was all about Lou and being able to marry him…this being more about me…I’m a nervous wreck and not sure how to handle it!”  We helped to calm those nerves when she arrived.

Lou is her everything.  He’s her Happily Ever After.  He loves her perfectly with all her imperfections.  Michele’s a huge Pearl Jam fan (notice her license plate on the jeep) and she had the lyric “I wish I was the full moon shining off your Camaro’s hood” ringing in her head as we photographed she and Lou on his fully restored ’69 Camaro.

So wonderful to link arms with the Jasper family.  Their home will now tell the story of their Happily Ever After in a gallery wall we are designing.  I tell my clients all the time, ‘I want your portraits to be a launch pad for your stories to be told.”  So, Michele, your waiting to exhale moment has arrived!   Enjoy dear one!
