When I spoke with Kathy the first time this fall she mentioned she had three boys…I smiled big. I’ve been told boys are my wheelhouse. Having 3 sons, I know the special bond that develops between boys when there’s no sister to moderate their constant wrestling and chaos. The Talbot boys are perfect examples of this. As soon as they got into their football gear the tackling began and a game of football broke out while I photographed their mom and dad.
Kathy mentioned it had been forever since she’d had family portraits created and she, like so many moms, found it very difficult to photograph her sons in ways that captured all she loves about them. I assured her we’d cover her family in portraits in ways that would make her and all her boys smile. The Talbot boys (all 4 of them) were a blast! TJ and Grant play football for St. Paul’s and Will for Fallston. These guys mean business when it comes to their athletic endeavors—they also play lacrosse and ice hockey while Dad coaches them.
So much laughter and love with this family…and now it’s preserved and soon to appear on their walls to remind them everyday of all they are blessed with. Enjoy Talbots and may you continue to cheer each other on through every step of life!
