One of the great joys of creating portraits is partnering with wonderful families like the Koch’s for their annual family portraits. I literally watch families grow up along side my own with wonder and amazement at the changes each year brings.
Nikki had one day on Sam’s bye week that she could work portraits into her family’s busy schedule. Last year it was the same circumstance and it poured down rain on their session date. We created gorgeous portraits in studio but were so excited this year that we could venture back outside.
The boys have changed so much over the last several years, but one thing has remained constant over the last two years–the outpouring of love for their little sister Gianna. Gianna loved throwing rocks in the stream her brothers supplied her with and watching the drone circling overhead. All three cheer her on and are quick to assist with whatever she needs.
This family knows how to laugh together and enjoy life. It’s so wonderful to partner with them again to preserve what Sam and Nikki hold most dear. Sam is having another record year with the Ravens which is a credit to his tremendous work ethic and the love of his family supporting him each step of the way! Koch’s may your home continue to abound in love and laughter in the year ahead!
