JDP senior portrait experiences happen year round and occasionally we are able to incorporate what appears to be a few seasons in our portrait time like we did with Dylan! His session happened a few weeks ago and his mom loves the woods in the winter so off to the woods we went, braving the whipping winds and frigid temps.
I met Dylan a few years ago through a family portrait experience and was right away impressed with what a likable cool kid he was. This has only grown in him over the last several years.
Dylan joined our JDP senior modeling program this fall and has been a blast to work with. He’s a guy of a lot of interests and my plan was to incorporate his passions into his portrait time. Winter time session…so what!? Let’s bring out your surf board and make it happen!
Dylan is also an avid snowboarder and plans to attend college out west where he’ll likely continue stepping up his game on the slopes. The Vogels are a family that skis and surfs together, cheering each other on in each new accomplishment. They prize the time spent around the fire pit sharing stories from their trip adventures.
Dylan braved the freezing cold for the first part of his senior experience to help bring to life the vision we had created for his surfing self. He was fortunate enough to be able to participate in one of our JDP senior model bonus shoots below. Directly off the slopes at Liberty into a photo shoot! This gallery will help Momma’s sadness as Dylan heads out west this fall to start his next adventure…don’t worry, he knows the soft spot to land is back in Westminter…
