Beatty family

It’s a beautiful thing when you are able to share the things that made the best memories for you, with your children.  That’s exactly what Diane made happen for her son Bryan and his family.

Diane knew how much Bryan loved fishing, skipping rocks, picking apples, climbing through bamboo, and spending time with his grandad Harold working on an old truck at his farm.  This property represents long days of summer time fun making memories that are precious and bring a whole lot of joy.  The Beatty family was sad when it was time for Harold to sell the property and move into a retirement home.  But, saying goodbye to the beloved property was a sad necessity.

Just so happened my family had been searching for a home for over 2 years…we were hoping for more property and more space for my studio which was increasingly taking over our first floor.  We were told the combination we wanted:  pastoral setting, meadows, ability to ride four wheelers and be close to town AND have neighbors was impossible in Carroll County.   We’ve seen our God work impossibilities into possibilities time and time again though, so we held out and waited on His timing.  Enter Legacy Farms to the scene who bought up the 10 acres Harold was selling and divided it into 3 lots.  My stylist Jill Jackson called to alert me to the open property.

Legacy Farms decided not to hold us to the HOA restrictions since our grounds are 3.5 acres and we are tucked back off the road.  We jumped at the opportunity to build our dream home.  Bryan was hoping for an opportunity to take some photos on the property as a kind of ‘goodbye’ before all the changes happened.  Diane decided she wanted him to have this done professionally so she gifted Bryan with a family portrait experience that created the gallery you see before you.

Morgan and Elena’s beauty and spark for life brought an added bonus to the memories that Bryan has of the property.   There was so much laughter and exploring through the eyes of Elena.  Watching Bryan watch Elena enjoy the grounds was precious and priceless and I’m sure a memory he will bank away with all his other cherished memories of the property we have fallen in love with as well!
