Merry Christmas from the Prell family! I had so much fun creating with this family! Kirstin wanted something special this year for her family portraits. She told me she’d done the Ravens theme and traditional family portraits at Christmas time, but this year she wanted something special. She said she knew just where she needed to go to make that happen!
I was honored that Kirstin chose my portrait studio to create that something magical for her. And Kirstin was such a blast– she embraced the whole process with such excitement, like a kid on Christmas morning! From the pre-consult planning to the pick up she was beaming with joy! She said coming to my studio was like if you lived in Manhattan and got an appointment with a famous stylist—everyone is so excited for you and can’t wait to see the results! Absolutely love that! Humbling and makes my heart smile!
Whole time I was creating portraits I just kept thinking, ‘this family looks like a tv dramatic series family!’ Just gorgeous!
The kids had fun razzing each other…and Sierra is such a hoot! She serenaded her brothers with threats of what she’d do to them later if they didn’t quit messing with her! I told her, ‘6 years I’ve had my studio and no one has ever brought a ukulele until last week and now today…two in a week?! Crazy!’ Apparently it’s the fastest growing instrument in the US now and Sierra plays and sings so beautifully…oh, I could listen to her all day!
