Rachel debated about whether she should have newborn portraits created to welcome their little girl. Unfortunately, sadly her first newborn session was never delivered from her photographer. There’s no record of the portraits she hoped and waited for. Crushing on so many levels.
Fast forward a year and a half and the Smiths are expecting a baby girl. At the last minute (in her delivery room) Rachel landed on the side of ‘yes’ to newborn portraits. I knew what had happened to her in the past so my studio manager moved appointments around so we could fit in the Smith family last minute. I assured Rachel there would be a beautiful story of how her family has grown and how 20 month old Henry would be incorporated to tell that story.
So here is the treasure of the Smith family that will adorn their homes and bring smiles to their faces for many, many years to come!
Creating mother/child portraits is always my favorite time in a newborn portrait session. What a treasure these will be to Rachel and Brian…and eventually to Evelyn!
