“This is the last time we will be a full nest and the last time we had family portraits created the kids were all little,” Jennifer told me when she said she wanted to create family portraits. When all your children are taller than you it’s clear the time is quickly approaching when they will be launching out to take hold of the futures you’ve been trying to prepare them for their whole lives.
Blog followers may recognize JDP senior model Jacob featured on our blog last fall. It’s rare to see a senior guy change so much in less than a year, but growing out your hair will do that. Pretty cool to see that marked change in such a short time.
It’s been a year of change for the Paschalls as they’ve moved just before they prepare to launch Jacob off to college. Knowing high schoolers Brian and Megan won’t be far behind is certainly a daunting thought, but one Jennifer and Lonnie seem prepared for.
The days are long, but the years will always fly by. While your nest is full, I pray the summer days are long and sweet spent lounging by the pool, the air is filled with laughter and reminiscing while your heart is overflowing with gratitude as you enter this next phase of life!
