My first career was teaching Psychology & History in what feels like a lifetime ago. It’s always such a joy to bump into my former students who are now parents themselves. Even better is when I get to create portraits for them! Around mother’s day an inquiry came in from a husband wanting to gift his wife with portraits.
Around mother’s day an inquiry came in from a husband wanting to gift his wife with portraits. That husband was Dwight and the wife was Gwen. He shared that her maiden name was Bitzel and I recognized her name right away. I can’t say I remember every student, literally 1000s poured into my classroom during my time as a teacher. But Gwen I remembered right away.
If you are fortunate enough to do life with Gwen, you’ll know why! Certainly one of the kindest and gentlest souls you’ll ever meet. I just don’t think there’s a mean strand anywhere in her DNA. She’s quick to laugh and smile at life, which is a trait shared by her family and soooo appreciated I’m sure.
My time with the DeGroff’s was fast paced to keep their adorable boys engaged and it was filled with so many tender moments that I’m thrilled to have locked down for them. From comforting a child whose feelings were wounded, to cheering on bravery, to snuggling and laughing…just the very best of what family should be! May the Lord bless and keep you all and shine upon you every step of your way together!
I love these beautiful pictures of this beautiful family. 😊❤️ Mom
