JDP senior Madi

Meet JDP senior Madi!  This gorgeous girl got to be the first to create portraits in our newly restored row boat!

My boys and their Mimi restored this boat over the summer and we knew it would be the perfect compliment to the senior portrait season at our tiny pond!  Madi’s grown up fishing with her family, locally and in a Canada retreat they take every year out in the wilderness.  So it was a great way to incorporate that love of the outdoor time with family that has created so many wonderful memories for her.

Yager’s been by Madi’s side for much of her life.  Little Jack is a more recent addition to the family, but he’s stolen just as big of a piece of Madi’s heart as Yager has.  So it was only natural these guys should be included in marking this special time in her life.

Madi was also the first JDP senior girl to create with our new studio waterfall!  Her family’s love of outdoor time has also meant a lot of time for Madi waterskiing so what a great way to capture that!  She opted out of going in since she had this great hair and the next day was the first day of school–can you blame her!?  How awesome to rock that hair the first day of school!

Lastly, we created a fine art piece for Madi…a piece like this just makes you wonder…and consider possibilities…that’s all I ask from it.  Take time to wonder and consider what the future holds for you to take hold of!  Right now it’s Homecoming preparations and decorating as a part of her role in SGA…next year this time…who knows–only time will tell…but hopefully it’s at JMU!
