JDP senior Caitlyn

JDP senior Caitlyn and her mom were excited to create senior portraits that would have a more artistic feel.  During our pre-consult planning meeting we dreamed big. 

As you’ll see here in her blog, Caitlyn wanted to play up a fairy tale feel for her portraits.  She had lots of ideas and I could not wait to get started!

Blog followers may recognize Caitlyn from her Sweet and Sassy 16 shoot about 1 1/2 years ago.  One of my highest forms of praise is how often my wonderful clients return to have me create for them again. 

Since Caitlyn had gorgeous coverage of herself in some of her favorite outfits and dresses at her Sweet n Sassy 16 shoot, she decided she wanted to get more creative & editorial for her senior portraits.

Water was a common thread for Caitlyn’s requests…she wanted to be surrounded by water and flowers in a tub…she wanted to throw water and freeze time…she wanted to be a real life fairytale…and that’s just what we did!

Kudos to Caitlyn’s mom and dad who made her dreams come true in this shoot through all their preparations and contributions.  They never fail to cheer her on and guide her towards her best. 

Caitlyn has also participated in our JDP senior model program since we launched it 2 years ago.  She got to be one of the early invites who got extended time in the program and I’m so glad she did!  She’s ranged from an ice princess to a mannequin and all this practice has made her a pro at following direction.  Here’s a look back at the shoots she’s been a part of!

Caitlyn–you are dearly loved in a way that it’s hard for any teenager to ever fully grasp.  But one day…likely about the time you become a mother, you’ll understand that fierce protective love that protects you and look back with a big smile that you were always cherished and your momma’s ‘little diva’.
