JDP senior Will

Meet Westminster High JDP senior Will.  He may look familiar to blog followers.  That’s because his big brother Nick was in for his senior portraits just two years ago. Mom warned me the time would go quick before she’d be back and here we are!  Looking for senior portraits?  We’d be happy to chat with you about your own senior portraits if you click here.

It’s about to be a whole new season of life for mom and dad as both boys will be off in college this time next year.  Will is hoping to go south for college.  He’d like to attend somewhere large with a huge sports following, did someone say Clemson…Miami?

Will plays for the Owls lacrosse and golf team.  Last year was a record year for men’s and women’s lax as they both won the state championships!  Will’s ring will be coming soon!

Speaking of meaningful hardware…how sweet that Will wore his grandad’s Rolex for his portrait time.  Will is very close to his Pop-Pop whose health has been failing with Alzheimers.  It’s clear what Pop-Pop has passed onto Will is so much more than a watch and he is blessed to be surrounded by this kind of love. Will’s Pop-Pop used to own the Glade Valley Golf Course and as you can see the love of golf has also been passed from generation to generation of the Budzynski men.

Marylanders know about the recent flooding we’ve experienced and this just so happened to make for an incredible back drop for Will.  Those familiar with the studio grounds may recognize this path that is often walked…in here covered with water spilling over from our pond.

Will is a thinker and a reader so we wanted to mark that in a way that reminded him of what it means to get lost in a story bigger than yourself.  Be it at work, on the field, in the classroom, on the greens, Will may you always remember that a story is waiting to unfold with you in it!
