Models in the Clover

Several of our JDP senior models joined me to help redeem a little of what’s been lost of their senior year to create portraits in the crimson clover.  We get a lot of questions about our model program.  In a nutshell it’s a chance for me to create when opportunities arise in ways we aren’t always able to do in regular sessions.  Our models are invited into this program after they have had their senior portraits with us.  We loved our time with them, they loved their time with us and we want to keep all that awesomeness going through the winter and early spring before they graduate!

We went out to the Fields at Fox Haven on two different days to give as many of our girls a chance to be a part of creating in this gorgeous location as possible.  My friend, Dave Bittner has been encouraging me to come out to this breath taking farm he helps his dad manage.  He was excited to see what I would create in this stunning location that he and his father pour so much of themselves into.  I was excited to take this awesome group of girls who make me laugh and trust me to create amazing with them!

Dave’s goal is to put Fields at Fox Haven on the map for visitors to come and purchase flowers and fresh organic vegetables from.  He wants to do this to honor the 25 years his dad has poured into cultivating the beauty here.  He’s most at home out in the soil harvesting asparagus, sowing seeds and dreaming about all that’s waiting to bloom.

Fields at Fox Haven is about an hour from my studio and I wish it was right in my back yard!  I am very grateful for the couple of times I’ve been able to get there this year to create for clients!

I am impressed with your photos of the seniors.
Glad you like the Fields at Fox Haven site and the work that has gone before to make it so nice. David suggested that you are a very good photographer and now I am thoroughly convinced.
    Come back often,
    Dad Bittner
