JDP senior Jack

JDP senior Jack has his feet firmly planted as an athlete and an academic at Brunswick High.  His love of learning, especially in the maths and sciences has led him to pursue a career as an engineer.  Likely he’ll focus on either fire protection or electrical at University of MD or Georgia Tech.

He brought a differential equations book that we highlighted for a segment of his session.  Differential equations is Greek to me, but I love watching the minds of kids like Jack work through the delicate intricacies of equations that befuddle the average person.  Studying by light of our new runner pipe lamp.  Jack is also a soccer player year round and a runner for Brunswick.  He runs the mile, 800 and 4×8.

I proposed to Jack the possibility of exploring the downtown area a bit to create with the urban grunge aesthetic as our backdrop.  Jack was pumped to explore the potential that awaited and embraced the opportunity.

Jack’s been playing soccer since he was 4 years old.  Today he’s a defender and center back for his club team and a versatile all over player for his school.

Jack’s love for soccer comes from the fact that he always play a role in his team’s chance for victory.  He knows he can help control and contribute to the outcome in the fast pace game that he thrives in.  He’s known for his passing skill and his speed, which is why track and field in the spring was such a natural choice for him as well.

Night time in the pool is my favorite way to end portrait time!  It’s been highly requested with the class of 2022 and I love how we can experiment.  Jack was the first JDP senior to head a ball out of water, which is no small feat to accomplish I can assure you.

I wish you all the best Jack!  Your wit, charm and gentleman approach to life is going to make you a great asset to any college and career path you choose!
