JDP senior Reagan knows how to get a job done when he sets his mind to it. He knew the car he wanted, this BMW 3 series. So Reagan worked two jobs while in school and playing lacrosse to make that happen. He made the most of his quarantine virtual school at Mount St. Joe’s by listening to his lectures while simultaneously working and watering flowers at Walmart. Interestingly, many people learn better by doing a physical task while they are taking in new material. Looks like Reagan figured that out about himself.

Currently Reagan works at Old Westminster Winery where you’ll see him making pizzas. He worked at Pizza Hut for a while, but they couldn’t provide enough hours for this kid who loves to work (a rare trait indeed). He worked at Wendy’s and Old Westminster Winery simultaneously through the winter. That’s how he was able to pay off his car, in full, in 6 months! He put 50% down and then paid off the balance in that 6 months.
During his shoot I kept thinking Reagan reminded me of someone…than it hit me–a young Zac Efron! His grin, lashes and baby blues could make him Zac’s little brother!

Given all the hard work that went into him getting this car, I knew we wanted to make some incredible portraits so he’ll always remember how hard work pays off in life. A trait that will be a blessing to him and his future family throughout his whole life.

Reagan enjoys recreational shooting as well and even saved to purchase his own AR-15s after he turned 18.
Reagan has been playing lacrosse since he was 4. He grew up on the tournament fields watching his older sister Emily play and was eager to take his turn. He would even sleep in his lacrosse helmet! It’s pretty cool how his love for his sister encouraged him into the sport and what kept him playing all these years is the camaraderie of his team mates, many of whom he’s been playing with his whole life.
Reagan you were a delight to create for and it’s clear that smile makes you a delight wherever you go in life! Keep feeding that hungry drive and the sky’s the limit for you as you accomplish all you set your mind to in this life!
