For their mom and dad this is going to be a rough year. Going through all the senior firsts and lasts within a 2 year time frame is making them want to stop the clock. The clock stops for no man and they are embracing each last as it comes their way.

Paige is a member of National Honor Society and an avid reader who loves to devour her favorite authors creations, Kiera Kass and Natasha Preston. Paige is also a Girl Scout who applied modern technology to the tradition of selling cookies and candies and found she earned far more money from on-line sales than setting up shop in front of stores.

Paige loves to stay active so it’s a natural connection for her to be involved with field hockey and track and field events. She also loves lifting with her boyfriend, upcoming JDP senior Zach. She also manages to fit in working at Cold Stone in her ‘free’ time!

Paige just loves everything there is about field hockey. She’s close with her team mates who have largely played together since 8th grade. When they started in 8th grade they played down to all the teams and this last year they celebrated winning a game to a team that played up.

Paige credits part of her love for field hockey to her awesome coach who played D1 college field hockey. Their practices are 3 hours long. This last season they won 3 games and her coach was impressed by the ‘leave it all on the field’ attitude the team played with for every game. She cared deeply about all the girls and reminded them to always hold their head up high.

It’s never easy for a team to have more losses than wins, but the attitude embraced by the team during that adversity surely shapes these athletes for life. Paige noted how losing made their victories taste all the sweeter.

Paige is also a sprinter and a pole vaulter. Her BFF wanted her to come out with her and she figured it was a good way to stay in shape for field hockey. She found camaraderie there as well and enjoys her time competing alongside friends.
