JDP senior Jacob

Winters Mill soccer fans will most certainly recognize Jacob for his speed and footwork on the field.  His fierce competitiveness on the field just led to his being named All County First Team.  Such a cool honor to bestow upon an athlete who has dedicated countless hours to at excel at the sport he loves.

Jacob led the county in scoring with 24 points (eight goals, eight assists)  He’s also responsible for the goal that tied the 1-1 game against the Mill’s rival Liberty.  Jacob hopes to continue playing soccer in college next fall, perhaps at Salisbury.

The Winters Mill boosters have worked hard this last year to add the “Home of the Falcons” you see above on the fence and the “Get Loud” banner on the bleachers.  How appropriate that we should include them in Jacob’s senior portraits since he and two other buddies have taken it on themselves to get the student section pumped up at home games.  You might see Jacob calling a freshman out of the stands to be bench pressed by a senior.  Jacob’s famous for doing flips off the bleachers too to pump up the crowd!

Had a blast with Jacob and am pumped that he’s joined our JDP senior model program!  Look forward to a possible flipping bonus shoot in the future?!?
