Randy and Becky are preparing to welcome their second child, a little brother for their sweet daughter Jenna.
I’ve known Randy and Becky for a long time, but it’s been about 5 years since I’ve been able to spend much time with them. What a delight to see how Randy still looks out for Becky. He’s protective of his princess and kept checking in to make sure she was doing fine with her dance movements during our session.
Becky’s been dancing her whole life. So about 4 years ago when the opportunity came to purchase the Carroll County Dance Center she was already working at, she moved into action. She and a friend partnered up to take on the task of owning their own studio. The studio is located in Sykesville, surrounded by gorgeous historical buildings in the Warfield Complex.
Watching Becky go through her warm up routine and then dance with Jenna—it was pretty clear, if you want great dance instruction in Eldersburg—Carroll County Dance Center is the place to be!
I was eager to shoot in Becky’s amazing studio space. I always dreamed of dance lessons as a little girl, so photographing a dancer and her daughter in this setting was pure delight for me.
We ventured out on the property grounds also to C A P T U R E D some of these amazing backdrops for their photos.
Randy was in the midst of recovering from his 2nd ACL transplant, but that didn’t stop him from dancing with Jenna. He took his brace off for a few minutes and twirled his little girl. This is a moment that will come back to Randy when he dances the Father/Bride dance about 20 years from now…

You know I am in love with these shots!!!! Becky is the most talented and gorgeous dancer I know and these pictures completely show that!!! I love how sweet Jenna is following in her mother's steps!!! What a sweet, sweet family!!!!!
