Mesa

Sonny and Rebecca have added a third little sweet pea to their family joy with the birth of their daughter Mesa.  Savannah and Brindal are fascinated by her tininess and that something so resembling a baby doll is now their little sister.

The girls could not get enough of Mesa and she’s pretty fascinated by them as well.  Something tells me there’s going to be a lot of tea parties involving horses and baby dolls on the cattle farm they call home.   The girls enjoy time with their horses and it’ll be in the blink of an eye before Mesa is traipsing along after them out into the pasture.

The girls were so excited to have me to their home.  I received a personalized tour of their bedrooms and special nooks and crannies in their home that are important to them.   They were then excited to journey back to my sales center for their View and Choose session.  Brindal belly laughed through many of their portraits in the kind of laugh you wanna log away in your brain to recall on challenging days.  She also loudly proclaimed more than once, ‘she’s super beautiful’ when she saw portraits of Savannah…sweet bonds within their family indeed.

Sonny is a champion steer wrestler, so it was only fitting to include some of these elements in Mesa’s shoot.    He’s a real live cowboy who mentioned after the fact he was missing his cowboy hat for the portrait session.  It’s a part of who he is but in the midst of newborn mayhem, was one forgotten component.

Sonny was also the protective guardian for little Mesa on these composite portraits, so she was always in Daddy’s hands to make sure she was 100% safe throughout our whole session.   Something tells me that’s a role Sonny’s going to be in for all 4 of his girls for all the life God blesses him with.
