JDP senior Nick

It was a last minute decision that led Amy to my studio with the commission of creating a senior portrait experience for Nicholas.  I see it so strongly in these moms who come across my door…their boys are about to launch out and they just want something meaningful and tangible to hold onto as they leave.  I’m just a few short years away from the same thing!

One mom recently shared with me how she played her slideshow on the plane ride after dropping her boy off for school in Montana and of course was a crying mess…but in a good way!

Nick is one of the kids who sets his mind to excellence at everything he lays his hands to.  He hopes to one day be a pilot and thanks to some generous friends of mine, we were able to photograph him with a plane.

Nick’s family is very into fitness.  Nick plays golf and lacrosse and works out regularly.  Creating strength portraits that focus on honed muscle tone has been very popular with my senior athletes.  They spend countless hours in conditioning, but often have no idea what something like their back looks like while training.

Nick hopes to play golf in college and is committed to mastering the game when he’s not lifeguarding, studying or stepping into the handyman house repairs role for his mom when dad’s away.

Your future looks very bright and I’ll look for you in the skies Nick!!
