Oh baby Elizabeth…it’s safe to say this portrait will stay in my creatively cluttered mind till I’m old and gray. The combination of your absolute adorableness and your sweet disposition make you an absolute joy to be with! Your momma and daddy count you as their greatest treasure so how appropriate we should create a princess scene for you to celebrate your 6 months of age and your first Christmas!
Lavi is from Romania and dreamed of one day joining the National Guard when she came to the States. Unfortunately that was not possible, but in the process of trying, she met Steve who has given her reason to smile again. Watching Lavi and Steve view their portrait gallery was precious…Lavi said, “look what we made Steve” while they both were in awe of their little princess. The tears flowed in absolute joy at the beauty we have locked down here. I was in awe of how Lavi and Elizabeth together reminded me of a Mary Cassatt painting.
This traditional Romanian outfit below has special significance to Lavi’s grandmother who will be so delighted to receive this in a portrait of her great grand daughter. We will have another blog of Momma, Daddy and Elizabeth of more contemporary style portraits in coming weeks!
