JDP senior Ally

JDP senior Ally knew she wanted almost all of her portrait time outdoors because that’s her love in life.  That’s a real gamble with our crazy Maryland heat, humidity and rain on the hair but Ally fared beautifully.

Ally fell in love with her cousin Sammy’s senior portraits I created for her 5 years ago. Interested in your own senior portraits?  We’d love to chat with you about that by clicking here.

Ally is a get it done kind of girl in life.  She’s a member of NHS and an avid competitive volleyball player.  In fact she was early commitment to Millersville the winter of her junior year.  However, that may be changing as she knows she wants to pursue her RN degree, following in her mom’s footsteps.

Ally has such a big heart and that’s evident when  you spend any time with her.  A few months ago Ally was at a benefit to raise funds to help fight childhood cancer.  While there she made a 2:00 a.m. decision to cut her hair to donate to Locks of Love.  She cut off 7″, not giving a thought to her upcoming senior portraits.  Fortunately she was able to grow out several inches prior to her portrait time, but let’s just say she won’t ever be making any 2:00 a.m. hair decisions in the near future!  That’s a decision best left to the daytime!

Maryland outdoors can be so beautiful…when it is.  However, anyone who lives here knows how much rain and humidity we’ve had this summer.  Ally was fortunate to catch a beautiful day and she told me she wanted to lay down in our flower meadow.  I warned her of the bugs that would…and did…crawl on her.  She was a real trooper though and did what it took to get the cool portrait created!

Ally, it was such a pleasure to work with you and I look forward to hearing what this next stage of life holds for you!  Go get ’em girl!
