I met Salome several years ago when her daughter was graduating from highschool. We created a tender Mother Daughter Unveil your Cinderella portrait session that adorns her home today. Today, that daughter Stephanie is preparing to enter medical school to follow in her mother’s footsteps in becoming a physician. Such a joy for Salome to watch Stephanie take these next steps. Unfortunately, Salome lost her mom her freshman year of college, so she never got to see her accomplishment of becoming a physician. Last year I saw Salome for her middle son’s senior portraits. Blog followers may remember Matthew as the chess player with the ball python wrapped around his neck! Matthew just finished his freshman year at the University of MD. His portraits adorn Salome’s home as well.
Problem was, someone was missing on the walls. After Salome picked up Matthew’s portraits she told me, “I need to get Christopher in here as well. I want to see him along side Stephanie and Matthew on my walls.” Parents sharing this exact sentiment with us is exactly why we launched our JDP jr. line last year!
Salome is eager to see how her boy who loves football, soccer, baseball and basketball will change over the next 6 years before he’s a senior. Having 3 teenaged sons, I couldn’t stop myself from seeing my own sons at this age and noticing how quickly they transitioned from little men to young men. I’m eager as well to see how Christopher will change in this next
season of life!
