It is no small task to try and narrow down to my favorite 20 images from a full year of creating. I’ll never adequately be able to explain the whys behind what compelled me the most. If you ask me to do this in a month, something else will jump out at me and arrest my attention. That’s just how it is. People ask how I choose my favorites. Often times it’s a sweet spot we hit between myself, my team and the client during our session. That sweet spot develops when a client radiates pure joy after I show them the back of the camera and then they settle into our time with a confidence easily read by the camera. Or sometimes it’s when I see a moment that reminds me of one of the master creators I’ve studied what feels like my whole life.
