JDP senior Olivia

Meet JDP senior Olivia, one of our fabulous class of 2022 JDP seniors.  We were so thrilled to create for Olivia, but when she reached out hoping for a summertime session, all of our summer and fall session dates were booked (mostly by people securing spots on our waitlist).  We were able to offer her a spot in the winter which she was grateful for.

However, I knew several of the girls who commissioned me to create for them were hoping for summer so I made a last minute decision to offer Olivia and a few others a small segment of their session time during the summer.  We put what we created on hold until their full winter session.  It is unlikely we will be able to offer this again to our winter sessions in the future though, so please secure your spots early if you know you’d like me to create for you.

Olivia has a quick smile and a joy that is effervescent.  She has a quiet demeanor and is happiest being social with her family and friends.  She lights up every room she enters!

Olivia attends Manchester Valley High and plays field hockey for her school.  She’s played since she was in 2nd grade and loves the game and all the friendships that have resulted from her time on the field.  Many of her closest friends are girls she started on the fields with in elementary school!   She’s also played lacrosse most of her life, but it’s field hockey that she is passionate about.  Olivia has figured out how to balance school work/athletic pursuits and a job at Green Mount Station.

Olivia hopes to pursue training to become a nurse after graduation.  Something tells me her bedside manner will be such a lovely compliment to her patients.

Olivia was such a delight as she just embraced every genre of portraits that we chased after in creative mode.  She was equally thrilled with her fine art segments as she was with her modern editorial pieces.  Her energy was contagious.

While I love the piercing expressions that make me want to know a person’s story, it is also sooo wonderful to capture such radiant joy as this!
