Every dancer is compelled into storytelling movement by different types of music. For Madison, she prefers no words so she can embrace the melody and the beat without distraction.

Madison is excited about this next phase of her dance training to be pushed more in her growth, to explore her own boundaries and to venture into new styles of training. If you name a dance style, she’s done it! Today she focuses on modern and contemporary which she hopes to continue pursuit in college.

Madison is moved with joy that’s difficult to convey when she’s able to express feelings in story without the story having to be her own. Watching a story progress and unfurl its drama and import is one of her favorite things in life.

Every dancer and athlete lives in fear of the dreaded injuries that prevent them from performing. Last spring Madison sprained her knee at a dress rehearsal, two days before the big performance. One month later she was performing in a show, sans all the classes that would have led up to that performance.
