Meet JDP senior Parker! He’s one of those guys it feels good to be around and everyone just loves. His family and friends affectionately call him the Mayor of Mt. Airy for his affability and gregarious approach to life. He’s got the gift of gab which helps put everyone at ease around him. Who knows if politics could be in his future one day!;)

He’s the jack of all trades when it comes to sports. You name it and this kid has done it or is doing it.

Parker’s played baseball since he was 8 years old. He’s a catcher, first baseman and pitcher. He loves the thrill of throwing a player out when catching. His favorite baseball memory of all time involved his over the fence homerun. Sadly, his dad had just left the fields to go coach his little brother’s team, so he didn’t get to see his boy make this memory. Something tells me Parker won’t soon be forgetting that day though!
Blog followers may recognize this adorable doodle, Lucky. Lucky joined JDP senior Sam , Parker’s sister, last year for her session. Lucky will also be in a our new JDP senior promo film that Sam is in as well. It’ll be released at the first of the year celebrating our 15th year in business!

Parker went out for football for his first time his junior year. He played a guard on the inside line and found he absolutely loved the game. He also loves the camaraderie of the team that has been so welcoming to him as the new guy on the fields.

Parker’s only played a year so far, but was pretty pumped to hear his name of the speakers as one of the tackler’s when his team scored a touchdown.
