JDP senior Lance has been all around the world. From the time he was a baby his mom and dad packed up he and his brother and traveled the four corners of the world.

Lance’s family travels with extended family annually for a 2 week trip. Brunai, Vancouver, Thailand, Spain and Toronto are just a few of the places they’ve made their memories.

Lance works at a Tree Trekkers, a ziplining and rock wall climbing place. He also is a dog sitter who takes his job very seriously. Whatever the dogs needs are, he makes sure they are cared for and feel the absence of their people as little as possible. One dog sitting job meant he had to sleep on 3 kitchen chairs he placed together!
Lance comes by his love of dogs from his family as well. His mom Fia is a dog trainer and behaviorist who has earned her PhD in animal behavior studies. He has her own business, Four Your Pack. She specializes in training and rehabilitation for dogs who need extra support to be a welcomed member of their families.

Perhaps it’s Lance’s love of travel that has influenced his love of dystopian other worldly books and his desire to work in a career where he can work all over the world.
Lance hopes to work in data science and analysis which should allow for the continued travel he hopes for.

Lance has played soccer for most of his life, including most of his time at Brunswick High, but his asthma has closed that chapter of his life. He’s placed that energy into fitness training and a bowling league he joined a few years ago.
