I cannot even believe it’s been a year since we recorded and featured this adorable little nugget on our blog celebrating his first birthday ! It seems like the blink of an eye ago we were celebrating Jeremy’s 6 months portraits and his newborn portrait time! When raising children the days may drag, but the years will always fly by! Jeremy is still the man of many expressions and he blew me away with his recognition of numbers and colors already! He is sharp! Toddlers are notoriously inquisitive and Jeremy was no exception once he warmed up. He loves his momma dearly and was very hesitant to leave her lap for quite some time. And that’s why I have always been committed to a low volume/high end care studio. We could allow Jeremy time to warm up on his own to capture this incredible gallery for his momma.
Once Jeremy was comfortable he began to explore and his favorite part of the session was riding the rocking horse. He loves watching westerns with his family and to his family’s delight, his portrait time was his first time saying, “yee-haw!” That’s captured in the third portrait in this blog. He just kept cracking himself up saying it over and over again pretending to be a cowboy!
For all the photographers who follow my blog, you’ll appreciate that I’m entitling this portrait below “the littlest gaffer” since Jeremy enjoyed pushing around my rolling light stands! 😉
Momma has a fierce sense of style and sass about her so we decided to end with a little shout out to her sass. She calls herself the Imperfect MD and I just love her bold expression and how she loves on her little man! May this year ahead hold all kinds of exploration, joy, laughter and time snuggled up watching westerns!
